When you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to reform. - Mark Twain”
Keywords: Mui Wo life, TVB interview.
I want to go and see the fall lar,
When?
To be honest, I really envy your life style. Too bad I do not have a chance to watch that interview. However, I think that is really a quality living.
C’est la vie ~
Dear
I learned something very valuable when I practiced Zen…you are either in control of yourself, or you are being led by the external environment.
Just give yourself a test…for a consecutive of 21 days, instead of watching TV, do something else, like read a book or listen to some classical music or just sit there and relax…you will find your inner world much richer and more peaceful at the same time.
Few years back, when I went to the States to do a short-term course, I shared a room with a lady of my age…I am turning 37 next week, anyway, every day without exception, the first thing she did after she woke up or came back to the room was to turn the TV on…it’s like the TV was part of her, or she was part of the TV.
After a week or so into the course, the TV bothered the hell out of me…I would like some quite moments to go inside and reflect what I had learnt that day. I gently asked if it was possible not to turn the TV on for a few momens. And she asked for how long…I asked if she found the TV noisy at all…she said, no. In fact, she reminded me of my mother.
Watching TV is one of the best ways to avoid living a real life.

I am so sorry I didn’t write it in Chinese…first of all, I don’t write well in Chinese and more importantly, I don’t know how to type in Chinese…I will ask a friend to help put it in Chinese for you…the only thing is it may take some time. Just check back later.
Sorry about that.
